Working in Edmonds
Edmonds is a lovely place to work, surrounded by the sandy beaches of Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains and featuring a thriving downtown with a growing restaurant scene. Originally a lumber town, this walkable gem has shops and cafes to enjoy on your off hours. There’s a Summer Market May through October, several museums and galleries for art lovers, and the nearby Kingston Ferry which offers gorgeous views of Mt. Baker.
Best-in-class benefits
Swedish caregivers receive best in class benefits that put you, your family and your career first. Caregivers receive medical, dental and vision insurance coverage that starts the day they do. They can participate in our retirement and life and AD&D insurance programs and have access to Health Reimbursement and Savings Accounts (HRA, HSA, FSA).
To support caregivers’ wellbeing, Swedish offers health assessments and personal coaching, plus incentives for participating in healthy activities. The Caregiver Assistance Program offers work/life services, resources and expertise, and caregivers can also take advantage of programs such as weight management, tobacco cessation and diabetes programs.
To further support communities like Edmonds, we have the Volunteers in Partnership program, which matches caregivers with volunteer opportunities. We also offer support for life events and family changes like marriage, birth, adoption, and more.
